More about the Maker
For how long have you been making your craft, and what got you started?
I started making jewelry 10 years ago. I have been working in a digital job and wanted to learn how to make something tangible with my hands. Initially the idea was to make something pretty for myself, family and friends. I quickly realized that I made more than I needed and had to find a way to release my work out in the the world. That happened right around the time Etsy launched, the timing couldn't have been more perfect.
What materials do you use?
I mostly use sterling silver, yellow and rose gold-fill, pearls, coral, agate and other precious stones.
Visit Katya during our Holiday Bazaar on the 15th Floor on Tuesday, December 18 from 12 to 2pm where she’ll be selling her crafts.
